My First Supper

So after a week or so of Felix intently watching us eat we decided to let him try some brown rice cereal. . . And we had great success! He finished the bowl and was looking for more! We're very proud.

Five Months! Wow!

At five months Felix has developed a few hobbies similar to his daddy's such as wearing clothes on his head - the Felix of Arabia look. He is also very entertained with his new toy - the EXERSAUCER. He likes to drool on the toys and then rub them on his forehead. Really, he's quite a clever little boy.

Our other little baby is also coming along. This weekend we finished (well almost) the roof component. We have a few more sedums to plant and then we sit back and let them take over the roof. We are currently deciding on the garage door and next weekend plan to finishing the electrical. That way scott doesn't have to unplug the radio to run the tablesaw. This photo shows the mulch laid out, the bags of soil and the sprinkler going - once the sedums are all planted we'll post another image.

Spring has Sprung (pardon the cliche)

Hi Everyone! Well spring is finally here and we couldn't be happier! Both Felix and I are more than happy to trade the indoors and taxes for warm breezes, sunshine, bird singing and all things spring! We've been on heaps of walks, visits with friends and family, and the like. Poppa and Granny Bailey were up last weekend and even babysat so Scott and I could go on a date! How novel! (Hot Fuzz was very funny).

As well, things are coming along on the 'garage'. The gravel drainage layer is up (see pic of boom) and this weekend we hope to get the mulch, soil and plants completed! On the inside the wiring is completed as is most of the insulating and drywalling. It's very exciting to be so close to being done!

Felix's Favorite Pastimes. . .

Here is Felix doing all his favorite things - most involve putting something in his mouth!!! There's jolly jumping (he takes little breaks to suck his thumb), putting his rattle in his mouth, putting his bib in his mouth. . . antone else notice a trend??? It could be teething but who knows. . . I'll let you know when I see teeth!
